MMYBA offers Sunday skills training and free weeknight open gyms throught April and May. All activities are at Milwaukie High School.

Guided skills training 

Work with high school girls head coach Craig Sneed, getting expert training from an experienced coach and private trainer for a great deal! 

• 8 Sunday evening sessions starting 4/6
• Sessions held April 6, 13, 20, May 4, 18, 25, and June 1 and 8
• Girls: 5-6 pm (grades 5-8)
• Boys: 6-7 pm (grades 6-8)
• $75 per player (per hour of training offered, this is half the cost of what other programs in the area are charging)

Open gym times throughout April and May (FREE)

We have multiple times at MHS throughout the week all spring for players to come work on their skills. 

Starts the week of April 6 and runs every week until end of May. Check below for the appropriate time to join an open gym!

Elementary coed: 

• Cancelled. Check back for summer opportunities

Girls grade 5-8: 

• Thursday & Friday, 5-7 pm

Boys grade 6-8: 

• Tuesday & Wednesday, 7-8 pm
• Friday, 7-9 pm

Coaches are invited to work with their team, players can come out on their own and work on their skills, or players can get together to scrimmage in 3v3 or 5v5 games!

‍Skills Clinic

There will be a skills clinic on Monday, November 11th from 4-5:30pm at the MHS gyms. This is a great opportunity to build skill together ahead of tournament season as well as learn from the skilled high school athletes and coaches! Entry is free.

Mustang Mania

In partnership with the Milwaukie High School Program, we will be hosting  Mustang Mania. Mustang Mania is a kickoff event where ALL TEAMS from 3rd grade to the Varsity team for the boys and girls program will be introduced! At this event, you will have a chance to enter into raffles and play games for prizes! There will be a live DJ and a WHOLE LOTTA FUN! We need all teams and coaches and families to attend to make this a great event! Mustang Mania will be on  Friday November 22nd at Milwaukie High School Gym and we will need all teams to arrive by 6:30pm!

Join us Saturday evening for our uniform try-on event and parent meeting. This is a mandatory event to ensure you get the right size uniform ordered for your player.

Thank you to everyone who participated in tryouts in September. We had a record number of players and were impressed with the level of competition this year. Below are important announcements and timelines regarding next steps. Please read carefully.

Wednesday, October 2nd - Team placement announcements will be communicated by email

Waitlists - We had incredible demand this year which unfortunately means we will have players on a waitlist for a roster spot.

Saturday, October 5th - Players/ families selected to a team will have until Saturday, October 5th to accept their roster spot and pay for season dues AND uniform fee. (A new uniform is required for the upcoming season. )

Sunday, October 6 - Waitlist players will be contacted to complete final rosters.

Scholarships - If you applied for a scholarship, a member of MMYBA will contact you with instructions on how to complete registration in a separate email directly after team announcements are made.

Saturday, October 12th - Uniform try-on date is  from 5-7pm in the Milwaukie High School gym. ALL PLAYERS SELECTED TO A TEAM WILL NEED TO ATTEND TRY-ON  DAY. Due to the personalized nature of our uniforms you have to be sized before we will place your order.
