Mini Mustangs (K-2)

MMYBA is building a K-2 program for winter 2026-27. Tell us what you want to see so we can shape the program around what works for the community.

Ideally, we’d like to get 30 players into the program in year 1. We need to hear from you by Oct. 1 so we can start planning.

Shape of the Program

  • About 6-7 weeks, one day per week

  • Focus on early skill development and developing a love for the game

  • Emphasis on an affordable entry to basketball

  • Inclusion into the broader Milwaukie basketball community will include things like a Mini-Mustangs shirt, a basketball to keep, and attendance at Mustang Mania in November.

  • We are looking at programming in either Nov./Dec. or Feb./Mar.
